About Me

Andrea Nielsen: Hello! My name is Andrea Nielsen and I have been teaching in Jessamine County for 24 years. The first 4 years of teaching were in Kindergarten and the last 20 have all been in Preschool! I have been lucky enough to be part of the Jessamine Early Learning Village since it opened in the Fall of 2000 and believe it is one of the best early childhood centers in Kentucky! I have one daughter, Lillie, who attends third grade at Rosenwald Dunbar Elementary! She attended preschool and kindergarten here at JELV, so I am still trying to get used to the thought of her being at a new school!
